- Karen Prytula is a free-lance local history writer. Her work has appeared in the Perth Courier, and she has just put out her first book "The Journals of John Allen Snow". Karen has several other projects of a historical nature in various stages of completion. Karen`s volunteer work includes volunteer reporter for the Frontenac News, this community blog, and is a member of the Tay Valley 200 Working Group. The Working Group was created to plan celebrations for 200 years of settlement in the year 2016.
